Glenn photographed our weddings (yes you read right, we had an Indian one & a white wedding to represent each of our cultures), which took place in October 2006 and we had a very positive experience throughout the process.
Pre-wedding consultation: Glenn was very thorough in scoping what style of photos we wanted, researching if there were any cultural issues with the Indian wedding (eg where to stand) and the pre-wedding shots at Avoca Beach was a very relaxing day out.
Wedding photography: Glenn’s calm and friendly manner made it so easy to smile on the day, we felt very relaxed around him to be ourselves and he adapted to our moods and movements, without being obstructive, unlike photographers at some other weddings we’ve been a guest at, you can’t see the ceremony as the photographers have literally joined the celebrant & bridal party at the alter. He managed to capture so many beautiful moments of us & the guests in our natural graces, still or moving, rather than put on forceful smiles & poses.
Photo development: Glenn’s experience really shone through when we viewed the photos and the artistic angles they were taken at. His experience in commercial photography was also very clearly evident in the shots he took of the table layouts. The album was laid out very creatively and with a lot of variety between the pages to keep the viewer interested. He was very reasonable in commercial aspects, pricing, both for the service and additional shots, and also the policy where we can own the high resolution shots of our selected photos straight away, rather than the 12 or 24 month waiting restrictions which some photographers impose.
I’d definitely use Glenn for future events, reprints etc, and would gladly recommend him to anyone considering his services.
